Trooper Ralph Tatoian

On
April 20, 2005, Missouri State Highway Patrolman Ralph Tatoian was killed while
responding to a call to assist in the manhunt for an armed robbery suspect who
had shot a Gasconade County Sheriff's Deputy in the head.
Trooper Tatoian was a member of the elite Highway Patrol Special Emergency
Response Team (SERT). As a SERT sniper, Ralph was responsible for ensuring the safety of his fellow team members
and other law enforcement officers.
After receiving the call while asleep at home in the early morning hours of
April 20th, Ralph proceeded to the area of the search. As he drove west on I-44
in Eureka, he was involved in an accident and
was killed instantly.
Ralph left behind his wife Deborah, his fourteen year old daughter Samantha, his
seven year old son Ralph, and his seven month old son Max. Ralph is also
survived by his parents Ralph and Mary Ann, and his sister Sandy. |
